Stand tall, stable and balanced. In this workshop we will use our feet for stability, legs for strength and mind to bring an overall sense of balance and stability to your being.
Join Robyn Katz, for a two-hour workshop where you’ll learn to lift and open the chest to feel more alert and positive, gain more balance, stand taller and have an overall sense of well-being.
Sunday, July 29 @ 9:00 a.m.; bring your yoga mat (no worries if you don’t have one, we have plenty to share at the Soul Center) & if you’d like, a towel/blanket for extra support.
What is Iyengar Yoga? B.K.S. Iyengar is the founder and namesake of Iyengar Yoga. This system of yoga is heavily based on precise alignment of the body, efficiency of movement and integration of body awareness and concentration. These attributes are taught through postures (asanas). As the student builds strength, learns balance and gains flexibility, a feeling of well-being and quietness comes to the practitioner. Iyengar yoga is often referred to as “Meditation In Action.”
