An Afternoon Tea Party & Conversation
At 94 years old, Miriam Zadek just published her first book and we’re thrilled to be able to be a part of her launch, to be inspired by her story, and to celebrate her accomplishment. If you know Miriam, you will know that she has a brilliant mind, a beautiful heart, magnificent relationships and wisdom that can guide us all. When she speaks and when she writes, people cling to her thoughts and ideas. On March 22nd, we’re hosting an Afternoon Tea Party with where Miriam will reflects on her memoir, Miriam Hearing Sister with Kathy Shapiro and Rabbi Saroken. This book tells her story about growing up with a hearing mother, a hard of hearing father, and deaf sisters, fighting biases and stigmas, and living in a family of resilient and strong women who were determined to thrive. Register here and bring your favorite tea cup with you. We’ll have your seat, tea, and cookies and biscuits waiting! Zoom option will be available.
